I always check the rotation speed of the rear tire vs the circumference before I allow the kids to drive it. 40 inches x 440 rpm calculates to about 16 mph. I use a 13 inch tire with a circumference of 40 inches on the Jeep. LOW is good for 15 MPH depending on the tires you use. The drill will not pull the weight in HIGH gear (not enough torque) - use LOW gear only! Make certain that you keep the Ryobi drill in LOW speed, 440 rpm.
